Welcome lunch.

In the afternoon we will do the tour to Tortuga Bay, famous for being a nesting place for black turtles. It is a tour in which you walk approximately 45 minutes to the beach of Tortuga Bay. We go through Playa Brava, where we can see sea iguanas, blue-footed boobies, pelicans, etc. and we reach Playa Mansa, a place where bathing is allowed and if we are lucky, we will be aroached by sharks taht visit the place to mate (they are not dangerous). The water is cloudy in Playa Mansa because it is an area of mangroves, but it is easy to see them if you stay in the water for a while.

Day 3 - Santa Cruz - Uninhabited island "full day" visit

For this day, after having breakfast at the hotel, you will have some options for "full day" tours, where you will board early to reach any of the islands that we present below. The destinations are: Bartolomé, Pinzón, Plaza Sur, Santa Fe, Seymour Norte or Floreana. Choose the destination that interests you the most.

If you select the photo of each island you will have access to a brief description of the tour.

Plaza Sur

Santa Fé

Seymour Norte

Another great option for this day is our diving tour aboard a fantastic poweboat. Whether you have a diving certification (PADI or similar) or not, this is an experience that you cannot miss. The Galapagos Marine Reserve Sanctuaries are the best place in the world to enjoy this activity.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will board our sailboat to sail to one of the Galapagos Marine Sanctuaries.

For PADI certified people, there will be two dives. We also give the possibility for non-certified people to have their first experience in the world of diving by doing a First time Dive or the Discovery option which includes diving plus a snorkeling trip.

The Galapagos Marine Sanctuaries that can be visited will be:

Departure: 07:00 from our Dive Shop. We will be on board the yacht from 08:00 to 14:00

Return: 3:00 p.m. in Puerto Ayora (depending on the destination, departure and return times may vary)

Venues are chosen from the best based on weather conditions, passenger experience, and logistics.

The tour includes lunch on board.

Back in Puerto Ayora, we will stay at your selected hotel.

Day 4 - Santa Cruz - Garrapatero - Darwin Station

After breakfast we will take a private transport to Garrapatero Beach. Garrapatero Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. We will be able to observe a permanent colony of flamingos, as well as sea turtles, among many other animals.

The beach does not have any type of infrastructure so if you want to spend the whole day on the beach we will leave you a radio so that you can communicate with the guide when you want to return.

You must bring food and water to spend time there.

You will be picked up at the agreed time to transfer you back to Puerto Ayora.

In the afternoon we will meet again with our guide to visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Famous for the captive breeding of giant tortoises, called Galapagos, which live an average of 150 years. It was created in 1964, has a Natural History Interpretation Center and carries out educational tasks supporting the service of the Galapagos National Park. This Station is also the center of operations for foreign scientists who come to the Islands to take care of special research programs.
