We leave by boat early from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, we will make a first stop to test the equipment in shallow waters to later arrive at the mythical León Dormido. Here we will dive in a unique place in the world where we can swim surrounded by hammerhead sharks, white and black tip sharks, galapagos shark, stingrays, sea lions, turtles and countless fish of various species. Also hopefully we can meet the great whale shark.

An unforgettable experience and a good dose of adrenaline.

Day 4 - San Cristóbal - Española

We will have an early breakfast to embark towards Española Island; one of the most beautiful in the archipelago, known as bird island.

Española Island is more than 4 million years old, which makes it the oldest in the archipelago. Until very recently it could only be visited on a navigable tour, which makes it now one of the greatest place of interest thanks to the wilderness in which some of these species that inhabit it live, many of them endemic.

The 4 million years of isolation and the absence of predators transformed the Galapagos animals into very trusting beings, which allows us to get close to them easily (just remember not to touch them).

This wonderful island, largely covered by basalt lava rocks, is the only place in the world where the Galapagos albatross nests, a bird reaches 2.4 meters of wingspan between its wings; agile to fly but clumsy to walk on the ground.

Among the variety of fauna, we find a subspecies of the marine iguana with green and red colors. The iguanas, on each island of the archipelago, are characterized by having a different color, there are yellow, green, black, etc. The green ones with red are only found in this part of the Galapagos.

We can also observe blue-footed boobies, Nazca boobies, masked boobies, albatrosses, lava lizards, Darwin's finches among others.

Gardner Bay, is considered one of the 25 most beautiful beaches in the world.

More than one kilometer long, it stands out for its fine white coral sand and its turquoise sea, it is also inhabited by a cheerful colony of sea lions which, if they are not belly up on the beach, are swimming or playing next to visitors to the island.

Gardner Bay is also the place where green sea turtles come to lay their eggs, so, in spawning season, you have to walk along the beach with great caution.

The surroundings of Gardner Bay are ideal for snorkeling or diving; We can easily observe turtles, white-fin sharks, octopuses, barracudas and hundreds of colorful fish.

We will do a short walk along a marked path to reach the other point of visit: Punta Suarez.

Its great volcanic cliffs, hit by big waves, are quite a spectacle. El Soplador (The Blower) is one of the great attractions that this fusion of land and sea generates, it is a tunnel connected to the sea that, when the waves collide, the water enters and bounces a jet that raises the water more than 25 meters high.

On this island we give the option of practicing diving for certified people. A dive will be made.

The tour includes lunch on board.
